TT Mobil, founded in 2004, is the most dynamic and innovative GSM company in Turkey today. TT&TİM İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş. was officially founded on February 19, 2004 after Türk Telekom's GSM Operator Aycell had joined with İş-TİM, which had been founded with the partnership of İş Bankası Grubu, 51%, and TİM, 49%.

After the joining, there was a short period of time when Aria and Aycell trademarks continued to exist under TT&TİM. By June 23, 2004,  the brand-new trademark "TT Mobil" reflecting the synergy created by the joining of the companies, was introduced into the market on behalf of the two trademarks. "TT&TİM İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş" business name was changed to "TT Mobil İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş." on October 15, 2004.

TT Mobil, which is the youngest, most dynamic and alternative operator in the GSM sector, has brought a serious competition environment to Turkish GSM market. The-privatization process of Türk Telekom's 55% share was completed in November 2005, and Oger Telecom gained the 55% share of Türk Telekom after the privatization.. Türk Telekom owns 100% share of TT Mobil.
